Voter Registration Orientation & Training. Please join the LWV of Detroit for voter registration orientation + training. Learn how to register people to vote! Debra Bunkley will host this training event.

The last day to register to vote in the 2018 election is Monday, October 8, 2018. From now until that date, the LWV of Detroit will offer voter registration days at Wayne County Community College, Hamtramck High School, Mumford High School, Southeastern High School, and Renaissance High School, and Wayne State University.

Why Gerrymandering is a Problem and FAQs About a Redistricting Commission. Detroit Women's Forum Luncheon Program Meeting

Fall 2018 Michigan voters will have an opportunity to change who draws voting district maps in the State, from the Legislature to an Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission (ICRC). This presentation discusses why the State's gerrymandering maps are a problem and, if an ICRC is the solution, how it would work.
