All Michiganders can vote from home using an absentee ballot. We are encouraging voters to apply for their absentee ballots for the upcoming May elections.
- Voters can print an application for an absentee ballot from the Michigan Voter Information Center, or they can call their city or township clerk and ask that an application be mailed to them. (Voters can also use any application for an absentee ballot provided to them by the Secretary of State, their clerk, a political party, or another organization.)
- Those with a current Michigan driver’s license or state ID can also apply for a ballot online.
- For more info on applying for an absentee ballot, voters can visit MichiganVoting.org.
