DESCRIPTION:At Saturday’s\, May 16th\, Membership Meeting there will be two Special Presentations \nLWV-Detroit’s President Emeritus & Secretary\, Rhonda Craig will present the LWV-MI’s “KNOW WHAT YOU SIGN!” presentation concerning the state’s citizen initiatives and ballot proposals \nand \nLWV-US’s Regional Organizer\, Genevieve Van Cleve will discuss the LWV-US’s Voting Rights Act Day of Action scheduled for five cities in the country (one of which will be DETROIT) to be held on August 8th and feature “Voices in the Movement\, Poetry and Activism” \nJoin the meeting in person at The Piast Institute\, 11633 Joseph Campau St\, Hamtramck\, MI\nor via Zoom at: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88059911565 \nAll are invited to attend. \nREMINDER: We do not meet in July\, August\, or December.
