Our 2023 LWVMI Convention will be held on May 19-21, 2023, at the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center in East Lansing, Michigan. This year’s in-person Convention promises to be informative, productive, and fun. State Convention allows us to conduct the important business of the state League while creating and renewing friendships with League members across the state. Unfortunately, there is no virtual option.
Delegates will:
- Adopt the 2023-2025 state program, including any state studies
- Adopt the LWVMI budgets for the next two years
- Elect LWVMI officers and members of the Board of Directors
- Consider amendments to the LWVMI bylaws, if proposed
Remember that any member can attend the Convention, whether or not they are a voting delegate. The convention registration fee is $200 for all attendees. This fee covers your admittance to all the convention venues, materials, workshops, plenaries, and three meals on Saturday, including the Awards Banquet and Sunday breakfast. You can register and pay the fee online (preferred), but you can also copy the registration form and mail it with a check. The registration deadline is April 30; after that, a $25 late fee will be imposed. Click the purple button below for the registration form:
