LWV 2022 National Convention: Women Power Democracy

LWVUS invites League members to the biennial national gathering (June 23 – 26, 2022) in Denver, Colorado. The theme of this year’s convention is Women Power Democracy.

Attendees will have the opportunity to join us in person and explore Denver, CO or participate virtually. Our hybrid Convention will offer unique experiences for both in-person and online attendees. But if you can go in person, do so! National conventions are a fantastic opportunity to network with League members from all over the country, enjoy a new city, meet new League friends, and get to know other Michigan delegates.  Here are some key convention points:

  • Any League member can attend the convention.
  • Registration will close at midnight on June 6, 2022
  • LWV Detroit has a budget available to subsidize registration fees for Detroit members. Anyone interested in attending the convention should contact LWVD President Rhonda Craig for more information: lwvdetroit@gmail.com or 313-288-9590.
  • For those attending in-person or virtually, find all business materials and a fully updated agenda on the Convention platform.
  • For those attending in person, make your hotel reservation ASAP since hotel rooms fill up fast! Visit the convention website to reserve your hotel room.
  • Registration: In Person ⏤ $475 or Virtual (via Zoom) ⏤ $300
