What do I get with my membership?

Your Detroit League membership adds your voice to a powerful force of League members from all 50 states, Washington DC, the Virgin Islands, and Hong Kong.

Your LWVD membership automatically makes you a member of LWV of Michigan (LWVMI) and LWV of United States (LWVUS).

With membership, you will also receive an email copy of the Detroit League’s bi-monthly newsletter LWV Detroiter as well as the LWV state bulletin League Links and Action Alerts from the National League.

How Membership Dues are distributed

Annual membership dues support the national LWV office (LWVUS) in Washington, DC, the State LWV office (LWVMI) in Lansing, MI, and local LWV Detroit activities, which serve all of Detroit, Hamtramck, and Highland Park. For more information on LWV Detroit activities, check out our online calendar.

Be involved. Be educated. Be engaged.

The best way to learn more about the League is to attend one of our monthly membership meetings, meet the Board, and get to know our charter members. See our online calendar for meeting dates and times, as well as other LWV Detroit-sponsored events.
