Why and How to Celebrate Disability Pride Month

Disability Pride Month is celebrated every July and is an opportunity to honor the history, achievements, experiences, and struggles of the disability community. Disability Pride Month happens every July to mark the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), passed on July 26, 1990.

Thanks to Michigan voters, there are now several different options for voting before Election Day! Following is a breakdown of those options: early voting at an early voting site and absentee voting, either from home or in person at your local clerk’s office.
