Be a Voter Ambassador

Voting Access for All Coalition (VAAC) will launch their VAAC Voting Ambassadors program with a virtual event on Friday, June 11 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Join us for an online Lunch & Learn: Becoming a Voter Ambassador program and consider a setting where you might serve as a voting ambassador in the jail or in the community in five pilot cities: Detroit, Pontiac, Jackson, Lansing, or Grand Rapids.

We ultimately want to reach county jails and communities across Michigan to speak up for the rights of all who are voiceless or vulnerable and to be voting ambassadors to help those who may be misinformed to know their rights.

To RSVP, visit Eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/lunch-and-learn-networking-event-tickets-157252242691. Advance registration is necessary to receive the online meeting link prior to the event.

The VAAC mission is to ensure all persons in pretrial situations, individuals about to be released from prison, and those formerly incarcerated, along with their families and community members, have the opportunity and knowledge they need to exercise their right to vote in every election.
