Here’s a recap of League of Women Voters’ work in April: Putting redistricting on the map with a People Powered Day of Action, partnering with voter rights groups to host a Civic Health Conference, and working to help pass the Washington, DC Admission Act (HR 51).

There are still things you can do to get involved in redistricting, such as participating in the National John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act Day of Action and staying connected with People Powered Fair Maps.

It’s been 101 years since the 19th Amendment granted women the right to vote and 98 years since the ERA was first introduced in Congress. But the Equal Rights Amendment still needs to be added to the Constitution.
