Report any problems at the polls to the 866-OUR-VOTE hotline. The hotline provides one-on-one assistance to voters with questions or concerns that may arise. The national hotline also identifies the most common issues voters encounter and gives the state a chance to come up with solutions:

  • How to get a new ballot after making a mistake (spoiled ballots)

Election Protection provides Americans from coast to coast with comprehensive information and assistance at all voting stages ⏤ from registration to absentee and early voting, to casting a vote at the polls, to overcoming election participation obstacles. Election Protection helps voters ensure their vote is counted through several resources, including:

Throughout the election cycle, our volunteers provide voter information, document problems they encounter when voting, and work with partners to identify and remove barriers to voting.
