Thursday, November 23, 2023, is Thanksgiving, when we join our family and friends to reflect on all we are thankful for. This includes the Detroit League, which is thankful for a great year and wonderful members and supporters. You have made this a fantastic year for LWV Detroit and for our democracy.
Our League members and supporters do everything in their power to see that we’re Making Democracy Work®. From fighting to protect voting rights and equal access to the ballot box, to codifying reproductive rights and leading efforts to prevent climate change, the League is committed to informing and engaging Americans about the significant public policy issues that impact our daily lives.
