National Voter Registration Day 2023
September 19, 2023 National Voter Registration Day is a nonpartisan civic holiday celebrated every September. It involves volunteers and organizations nationwide hitting the streets in a single day of coordinated field, technology, and media efforts.
Disability Voting Rights Week (DVRW)
September 11 to 15, 2023 DVRW is a national, nonpartisan initiative to build the power and presence of the disability vote. The League knows our voting system works best when all our voices are heard. We are committed to working to ensure that voters with disabilities have fair and equal access to the ballot box.
National Voter Education Week
Held the first week in October, National Voter Education Week (NVEW) is an open-source, nonpartisan voter education campaign that equips voters with the tools and information they need to cast their ballots.

Vote Safely November 3
Learn about registering, confirming your registration, and voting in an online informational session from the Detroit League of Women Voters and Detroit Public Library. We will address both absentee and in-person voting, along with the COVID-19 precautions that the Department of Elections will be taking for safety. There will be time for questions, and a brief description of LWV.
