Detroit League president Rhonda Craig is looking for members to participate in a Lame Duck Study sponsored by our State League.
The study will involve a committee reviewing materials provided by LWVMI and then making a presentation at a subsequent Detroit League membership meeting. The committee will gather opinions and information from our membership about lame duck sessions. The study’s end result will be a new position that LWVMI can use for advocacy purposes. The more members who participate, the stronger the position. At the conclusion of the study, LWV Detroit will complete a questionnaire, which must be submitted by March 31, 2021.
Materials include a powerpoint presentation and lame duck documents from LWVMI. These materials are available on LWVMI’s website (http://lwvmi.org/member/mem_studies.html).
