Already signed up? You do not need to re-submit your information if you’ve already completed the Election Worker Interest Form. Your details have already been provided to clerks in your area, who may contact you if additional workers are needed.
Have you previously served as a poll worker in Michigan? If you have been contacted, hired, or trained by a local clerk for a previous or upcoming election, please contact that clerk’s office directly to ask about serving in 2024. Find your clerk at Michigan.gov/Vote.

MI Poll Worker Eligibility Requirements: To serve as a paid poll worker (what the state calls elections inspectors), you must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Must be a registered voter in the state of Michigan if you are 18+ years of age.
- Must not have a felony or election crime conviction.
- Must not be an election challenger, candidate, member of a candidate’s immediate family, or a member of the local board of canvassers.
