[Thursday, April 29, 2021] The League of Women Voters of the U.S. encourages you to join Leagues across the nation to work together to shine a light on the importance of redistricting!
Once a decade, state legislators draw up maps that determine where and how we can place our votes. When this process is powered by and for the people, fairer and more equitable maps are created.
To spread the word about the importance of what’s at stake in this redistricting cycle, we are throwing down and hosting a national day of action on April 29. To maximize our impact and reach, we need to mobilize our networks! Inviting our own friends, families, and acquaintances to join our People Powered Day of Action ensures that we grow those involved in this important work!
