The Detroit League of Women Voters is partnering with CitizenDetroit to host a Dinner and Dialogue ⏤ American Democracy and the Capitol Insurrection. Presenters will center on the status of American Democracy, the significance of the January 6 insurrection on the Capitol Building, and the January 20 Inauguration of President Biden as well as issues of white supremacy, voter suppression, and similar activities in Michigan.

Election Security: Facts, Myths, and Fixes

The League of Women Voters Ann Arbor Area will host another Brews & Views forum on election security, lead by J. Alex Halderman, PhD, Professor of Computer Science and Engineering and Director for the Center for Computer Security and Society, University of Michigan. Dr. Halderman will discuss the unfounded allegations about the 2020 election, as well as the real security threats our elections face.
